Fritz Koenig (1924 to 2017) is one of the most important sculptors of the twentieth century, and his sculptures shape the public space in many German cities and also worldwide (biographical information under" Fritz Koenig "). The museum dedicated to his sculptures and drawings is located in Landshut as well as the ensemble of buildings in which he lived and worked, the "Ganslberg", and Koenig's significant collection of African art.
To retain and preserve all this is the goal and mission of the "Freundeskreis Fritz Koenig e.V.", founded in early 2018. Therefore everyone's support and contribution to help us realize our objectives is appreciated (see „about us“). for further information about our association).
